Christmas Vacation

The day after school let out, we headed for the Austrian Alps.  The drive was long, but BEAUTIFUL!

We did lots of swimming...

And lots of skiing...

On Christmas Eve we headed to Salzburg to check out their Christmas market, explore Hohensalzburg Castle and stroll around.

Just a little excited to have found a Starbucks!

Gingerbread Houses

The kids invited Amina and Millie home for their lunch break Thursday to make gingerbread houses.  It was fun to watch them decorate.

The advantage of a two hour lunch is that it's easy to have friends over.  They've met some sweet kids at school.  💕

Christmas Concert

This week we went to Baylor and Emory's Christmas concert at the cathedral.  It was really sweet, although I think Emory was way more into it than Baylor...

This is Emory's best friend, Millie from New Zealand.  She's adorable!

This is Amina, one of Baylor's good friends.  He's clearly enjoying singing songs up there 😨

The lady in the black glasses is Madame Laurent.  She has Baylor and Emory a few days a week for FLE.  She's awesome!  The lady to his left is Madame Mestas, his regular teacher.

Riom Basketball Tournament

What we thought would be an hour or two basketball tournament after church on Sunday, went on well into the evening.  😳. Baylor and his team played really well and had a great time.

They played a couple of teams who had girls and they were HUGE.

The ASM boys played tough defense 👊

But they got mad and started stuffing Baylor every time he went up for a shot.  😝.  That's him underneath #5!

Santa Came Early This Year

Since we are going to be out of town for Christmas this year, Santa did us a huge favor and came early this year 😉

Loved her reaction.
